Before You Come

AURORA includes light climbing and physical movement — reaching, bending, stepping, and handling props. Wear comfortable sports shoes and trousers; we recommend avoiding skirts or dresses, and anything that limits your movement. Lockers are available for your belongings.

All prices in Chinese Yuan (CNY), per person. Standard sessions are CNY 288 (≈ US$40) — promotional (early) and late-night sessions may be priced differently. A four-player session comes to CNY 1,152 (≈ US$160).

Your First Escape Room?

You and your friends step into a story and have around two hours to solve it together. Nothing jumps out at you and nothing can be broken — doors open by finding clues, not by force. A host watches the whole time and will hand you a hint whenever you ask for one. No special skills needed, just comfortable clothes.

Can We Bring Young Children?

Yes — there is no age gate. AURORA is a family theme: no horror, no jump scares, nothing in the set built to frighten anyone. The youngest player we have hosted was four, and six is roughly where children start working the puzzles out for themselves instead of following an adult. They only need to be able to walk and manage a few steps without being carried.

Refund Policy
  • Cancel 48+ hours before your start time — full refund, or move to any other date free of charge.
  • Cancel 24–48 hours before start — move your booking to another date free, or take a 50% refund.
  • Inside 24 hours — no cash refund, but one free move if you reach us at least 4 hours before the start.
  • Something outside your control — an illness, a cancelled flight, a typhoon? Tell us and we will move your session rather than keep the money.
  • If we cancel (equipment failure, safety, or force majeure) — 100% refund, or a free move if you prefer.
  • All refunds return to your original payment method.
  • All times are China Standard Time (CST, UTC+8).

How You Pay

No deposit or prepayment is required to reserve. Full payment is made after you land in China. Connect to a China network, then scan our Alipay merchant QR code and enter the exact amount yourself. Cash in exact amount is also accepted at the reception before the game starts. We never ask for personal transfers — funds settle only to our licensed merchant account.

Health & Safety

AURORA is a non-horror theme with no actor startle interactions. A few scenes use low lighting for storytelling atmosphere, and the game includes light physical movement. Guests sign a brief English liability & health waiver on arrival; a copy can be sent to you in advance.

You sign a brief English waiver on arrival. Please read carefully: by ticking the agreement box below, you confirm you understand and agree to the terms on behalf of yourself and (if applicable) the minor(s) in your care.

  1. 1. Nature of the Experience. AURORA is a non-horror immersive adventure. There are no jump scares, no actor-to-player touching, and no face-to-face intimidation at any point. Some scenes use low or shifting lighting for storytelling atmosphere, and the game involves light physical movement (walking, bending, reaching, and manipulating props).
  2. 2. Assumption of Risk. I understand that participating in AURORA involves inherent risks including, but not limited to: movement in dimly lit environments, uneven surfaces, sudden changes in light or sound, and mechanical effects. I voluntarily accept these risks.
  3. 3. Health & Fitness Declaration. I confirm that I (and any minors in my care) am/are in adequate physical and mental condition to participate. I will disclose any relevant conditions before the game, including but not limited to: pregnancy, heart conditions, back or joint issues, epilepsy or light sensitivity, claustrophobia, or limited mobility. If unsure, I will consult the staff in advance.
  4. 4. No Physical Contact. AURORA actors maintain a safe distance and will not touch, grab, or approach players closely. If any participant experiences unwanted contact or discomfort, they may stop the game and notify staff at any time.
  5. 5. Personal Belongings. The venue is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items. Lockers or designated storage may be available; valuables should be secured before entry.
  6. 6. Conduct & Safety. I agree to follow all staff instructions, respect the set and props, and avoid behavior that endangers myself or others. The venue reserves the right to end a session without refund in cases of misconduct or safety violation.
  7. 7. Release of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release the operating venue — — — its staff, and affiliates from any claims, injuries, or losses arising from my participation, except those caused by gross negligence.
  8. 8. Media & Likeness. ☐ I consent ☐ I do not consent to the use of photos or videos taken in public areas for promotional purposes. (In-game footage is not recorded.)
  9. 9. Minors. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who signs this waiver on their behalf.
  10. 10. Set, Props & Environment. All clues and game elements are placed within normal reach and inside items provided as part of the experience. I agree NOT to search above head height, behind false walls, under floors or ceilings, or inside fixtures, wiring, or structures not intended for interaction. I will NOT force, kick, pull, pry, climb on, or damage any door, lock, prop, or set piece. Only items clearly presented as part of the game may be handled.
  11. 11. Respect for Performers (NPCs). Our actors are professionals performing in a workplace. I agree to treat all staff and performers with respect at all times. I will NOT physically strike, grab, verbally abuse, intimidate, harass, or make inappropriate or unwelcome physical contact toward any actor. Any violation may result in immediate removal from the experience without refund, and the venue may report the incident to the authorities where applicable.

Every clause above is covered by the agreement you tick at the bottom of this form. You will also be asked to confirm it again on arrival, together with a contact number for the day.
